How to get there:

Take M5 to Exeter (and past it) to A38. Take A380 signed Torquay.  This dual carriageway ends at the Penn Inn roundabout.  There are 2 options from here

Option 1 (simplest choice and OK when the traffic is light).

Arrive at Penn Inn Roundabout and continue straight on for Torquay (usually best to be in the right hand lane).  After about 1.5 miles there is a lay-by (with cafe) on the left.  Just after this there is a garage on the left.  Turn just before the garage and keep left up the hill.  This is signed Coffinswell (and "The Linny" pub).  You will come to Rose Cottage at the edge of the village, follow the road round to the right.  Keep going up (winding) until after a sharp right hand bend, you see the telephone box on your left.  Willa Cottage will be found on the Right Hand Side about 70m past the phone box (and immediately after a T junction to the left).

Option 2 (often best when the Torquay road is busy )

Arrive at Penn Inn roundabout and turn left (signed for Milber and Combeinteignhead). Take the filter lane marked "Milber" and turn right at the traffic lights into St. Marychurch Road, signed for "Plant World".  Check mileage, because it may be the easiest way to find the next junction.  Continue up hill.  After 1.2 miles, turn right into Connybeare Lane, signed Coffinswell (although by the time you can read the sign, you may well have passed the junction!).  Follow this narrow lane as it winds down into the village and at the T junction, Willa Cottage can be seen approximately 10 yards to your left on the other side of the road.

[If traffic is really stuck, it will be queuing beyond the footbridge before the Penn Inn Roundabout, in between the two "Dual Carriageway Ends" signs, go in the right hand lane, and go right round the roundabout - actually making a left turn.]
